Got my taxes filed, and should have them in a week. So, it's time to look into getting a second vehicle. Looking to spend no more than $1,000 on the car itself. First on the list is a 2000 Infiniti I30, which I've posted about before. $800. I'm gonna try to arrange a meeting with the guy for this weekend to look it over. If that doesn't work, I'm gonna try to find some back up choices. I will keep you updated.

I filed my tax return on the 15th and just got confirmation that I should have the money back by this friday. The IRS seems to be taking a little longer than they originally say they will.

Good luck on the car buying. My money is mostly going to pay bills...

Seems different from one person to the next. I filed my fiancee's on the 23rd, and they're due for deposit on the 30th. I figure same time frame for me.

And as far as car buying, this is only a small portion of the return. We're going to put several thousand dollars into fixing up our house.
